Article in EG-Yurist "The Ministry of Digital Development has updated the Requirements for Information Posted on the Websites of Accredited IT Companies"
According to Order No. 511 of the Ministry of Digital Development dated June 2, 2025, in addition to general corporate information, the website of a Russian IT company must now include details regarding the company’s core products (works or services), their pricing, and, in certain cases, information confirming the existence of exclusive rights to the software. The amendments enter into force on November 21, 2025.
In the latest issue of EG-Yurist, Andrey Chervyakov, Associate, Ermolina & Partners, commented on how the new requirements will impact the regulatory framework for IT companies.
"The new requirements tighten the regulatory regime for IT companies and are aimed at increasing the public disclosure of information about their products."
